Janis Luzzo opened Every Baking Moment in July 2000. After 23 years Janis retired and AnneMarie Raymos excitedly picked up were Janis left off. AnneMarie was born and raised in Dixon. A few years after Janis opened Every Baking Moment, AnneMarie became a regular customer. She would bring her daughters in to pick up supplies and to take kids classes. Her youngest, Macee, thrived at cake decorating. It quickly became a mother and daughter weekly activity that they bonded over.

Renee Gray

Affectionately known as “The Cake Lady” to her friends and family, Renee started her cake decorating career by attending classes at Every Baking Moment in 2001. She now teaches cake decorating classes for Every Baking Moment along with being our resident expert on Modeling Chocolate, Extraordinary Gum Paste Flowers, Gourmet Cheesecakes, and Candy. In her spare time…no scratch that…she doesn’t have any.

Carolyn Riley

Carolyn has been watching and learning the art of cake decorating from her talented mother for over 30 years. After she graduated from our Wilton instructional courses as the self-proclaimed class valedictorian, she has brought her knowledge, creativity and flavorful sense of humor to our classroom. Her exceptional skills and attention to detail have propelled her to become our expert on advanced fondant and cake sculpting techniques. She loves teaching and wants to bring the creative cake diva out of you!

Stephanie Hamilton Velasquez

Stephanie works in Finance by day and is a baker and teacher by night. She joined the Every Baking Moments team in 2021. A Dixon native, she starting baking at age 10 at home and with her Grandma. She started attending classes as soon as she could. Baking has always been a fun and creative outlet for her and teaching made it just that much more fun. She can talk for hours, teaching all the tips and tricks. She genuinely loves seeing students excel and is excited for what they have created. Taking one of her classes you will find she tries to make learning as fun as possible, she nicknames everything!

Meet Charlee, a passionate cookie decorator with six years of experience honing her craft. She is Every Baking Moments newest instructor, joining the team in 2024. Her journey into the world of cookie decorating began under the guidance of her mother, whose expertise served as the foundation for Charlee’s skills. Over the years, Charlee has developed a deep love for the artistry and precision involved in creating beautifully decorated cookies. Whether guiding beginners through their first piping techniques or inspiring seasoned decorators with advanced designs, Charlee brings patience, creativity, and enthusiasm to every lesson. With a heart full of passion and a mind eager to impart wisdom, Charlee is on a mission to empower aspiring decorators to unleash their creativity, one cookie at a time.
