Ready or Not, Here We Move….

We are closing our doors at 141 North First Street 4p on Saturday Feb. 18th and Reopening at 143 North First Street 11a Tuesday Feb. 21st.  We are not complete by any means.  Improvements and  finishing touches will continue over the next month or so.  I will keep you posted on Facebook of the updates and when our Grand re-opening will be.  Thank You for  your patience.

Cakes not rising?

I have been getting complaints/concerns from many students/customers about their cake not rising as high as it used to. Simple answer-Betty Crocker decreased their mixes by 3 oz.; they did however, correct the oil to water ratio. My recommendation is to go by your cake pan instructions for the cups of batter per pan and follow that. These instructions are in the center section of your Wilton yearbook (everyone should own at least one, really). You could also try adding a 3oz box of pudding to your mix to increase the volume.

If anyone attempted to “contact us” over the weekend of July 23/24, I was having email problems and did not receive any messages.  Please try again, it is fixed now.

August Calendar Updated

Added on the August Calendar.  Hope you like the new formatting, I think it is easier to read.  Still getting in a lot of new products.  The yearbooks have shipped and should be on the shelves shortly.

Signing up for classes via “contact us” or email, please include you phone number so I can contact you immediately if we have an opening in a current class.

The temps are dropping today so it’s o.k. to turn your ovens back on, lol.
